To all engineers,technicians and employees in Energy industry

On every New Year, everyone, families, teams and the country evaluates the past and plans future. Catenary of the past, presentand future time of human development, continuation of unbroken history.

For Mongolian energy industry, this last year 2015 was full of achievements and we are starting the coming 2016 with the motto: “Accessible energy”.

In 2015, we submitted and passed bills and policies such as “Government Policy on Energy”, “Amendment to the Energy law”, “Amendment to the Renewable energy law”, “The law of energy conservation”, and working to further improve the legal framework of the energy sector.

Furthermore, “Egiin Gol” hydropower plant’s financing sources have been found, construction phase of largest power plant which would rely on Baganuur mine has started, Central and Eastern region power system made profitable, commissioned Amgalan thermal plant, Mongolian 333 soums have been connected to central power grid, and during the night Ger district’s families in Central region will receive electricity cheaper by 50 percent. We were able to give our citizens the opportunity to work and live in comfort.

For Energy sector, I believe the next year is beginning of many works and completion of them and achieve the goals. 

While wishing for great developments, upward strides in every corner of Mongolia, I am proud of you, you will be the creative force of coming years.

I extend my good wishes of work, achievement, creativity to all engineers, technicians and employees in 2016.
